Our client is leading travel company who specialises in worldwide destainations working with through both B2C and B2B channels.
Due to continued growth, they are now recruiting for a detail-oriented and Bookkeeper to manage financial transactions and records for theirtraveloperations.
Financial experience gained in the tourism or hospitality industryis preferred but not essential and must also possessknowledge of accounting principles, exceptional organisational skills, and a passion for the travelindustry.
This role ensures accurate financial reporting and efficient management of day-to-day financial tasks.
This role is offered on a hybrid basis - North London.
Travel Financial Bookkeeper Duties and Responsibilities include:
Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring accuracy in all financial entries.
Record and reconcile daily cash inflows and outflows in the bank accounts.
Process invoices, payments, and refunds, including customer deposits and cancellations.
Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including profit and loss (P&L) statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
Reconcile all bank accounts.
Travel Financial Bookkeeper Duties Experience Required:
Previous finance experience gained within the travel or hospitality industrypreferred but not essential
Ability to multi-task and good organisational skills
Experience of dealing with a variety of bank accountsand suppliers
Good interpersonal skills are key to maintain good relationships and lines of communications with supplier accounts departments.
Travel Financial Bookkeeper Salary and Benefits:
Base Salary to £30,000 depending on experience (negotiable)
