Our client is a multiple award winning tour operator who specialise in adventure and activity-based holidays.
Due to continued growth, they are now recruiting for an Tarvel consultant who contribute has to their ambitious growth plans through the sales of the tours tailored specifically to meet the client demographics and requirements.
The Travel Consultant will play a pivotal role, critical to driving sales performance and ensuring the future growth and profitability of the business in representing the brand by delivering outstanding customer service, fostering customer loyalty, and attracting new clients.
This role requires previous sales or reservations experience within the travel industry with the ability to close sales and meet targets.
The role is based on a hybrid basis - Birmingham
Travel Consultant Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide genuine advice and recommend trips tailored to each customer, ensuring they have the best possible experience and are encouraged to return.
Confidently engage with clients using your personality while interacting primarily over the telephone, web chat, or email.
Take the time to understand each customer's unique needs and motivations for considering a trip.
Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the booking process and provide ongoing support for any customer queries.
Work towards achieving individual monthly sales targets..
Travel Consultant Experience Required:
Previous sales experience within the travel industry is essential
Strong ability to learn and develop in-depth product knowledge.
Proven track record of achieving ambitious sales targets and maintaining a high level of performance.
Enthusiastic and motivational, with excellent communication skills at all levels.
Strong organisational and time management skills, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
Travel Consultant Salary and Benefits:
Base Salary to £24,000
Annual commission earning potential of £7,000 per annum
