Japanese Speaking Groups Travel Agent (AR0685)

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Japanese Travel consultant to work for our UK owed DMC / Tour Operator client.

You will be responsible for booking and supporting tours throughout Europe and inbound in to the UK for your Japanese Groups.

You will be working English and European team members and not only with the Japanese groups, as your English will be used for other groups also.

There is no selling AND NO emergency phones.

This is a Hybrid based position in London, Monday to Friday ONLY

Travel Agent Responsibilities:

• Managing booking requirements.
• Allocating services with suppliers and in our systems for tour requirements including meals, guides, site entrances, ferries, trains and coaches.
• Maintaining regular contact with your suppliers.
• Quality control of services.
• Managing booking requirements: keeping track of assigned group space and special requirements, tracking and notifying any changes.

Travel Agent Requirements:

• Proficiency in English and fluency in Japanese.
• Good knowledge of UK or Europe or Both required
• Work experience in a field related to tourism within Operations / Travel.
• Strong communication and presentation skills including the ability to work with all levels of employees.
• The ability to work under tight deadlines and with budget constraints.
• Ability to multi-task projects and responsibilities and strong prioritization skills.
